HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Communities across the Piedmont Triad will take part in National Night Out events Tuesday evening.
The nearly 30-year-old effort has been a chance for local law enforcement to team up with neighbors in an effort to fight crime.
One local group involved is High Point Community Against Violence. In the video above, HPCAV executive director Jim Summey talks about how National Night Out has helped improve the city's West End.
