Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks concert in Greensboro canceled

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks concert in Greensboro scheduled for Wednesday night has been canceled.

According to a press release from the Greensboro Coliseum, due to a sudden illness and following the advice of his doctor, Rod Stewart has “regretfully been forced to cancel the concert.”

Ticket refunds will be available from the original point of purchase starting Friday, August 3rd. Tickets purchased via phones or online will be automatically refunded.

Full statement from the Greensboro Coliseum:

“Due to a sudden illness and following the advice of his doctor, Rod Stewart has regretfully been forced to cancel his concert tonight with Stevie Nicks in Greensboro, NC.

The tour is scheduled to resume on Friday, August 3rd at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.  Since reuniting on July 20th, Stewart & Nicks have performed six concerts on their Heart & Soul tour this summer – all which have all been met with overwhelming acclaim from critics and fans alike.  

Ticket refunds will be available from the original point of purchase starting Friday August 3.  Tickets purchased via phones or online will be automatically refunded.”
