Suspect sought in Greensboro assault

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police said they are searching for a suspect after a man was assaulted and had his cell phone stolen Wednesday afternoon in Greensboro.

Police said it happened around 12:35 p.m. as the victim was standing by his parked vehicle near West Market Street and Hilton Place.

The victim told police he was approached by the suspect who took his phone and assaulted him when he tried fighting back.

An incomplete description of the suspect was provided.
