GUILFORD CO., N.C. -- A family is looking for their missing emerald-pied peacock after they said the animal escaped from his pen during feeding time in Southeast Guilford County.

The family said the peacock is named "Cross" and has mostly white tail feathers and blue, green and white feathers on his neck.

The family said the peacock was last seen Wednesday in the area around Blakeshire Drive and Southeast School Road.

Family members said the animal is not mean and they are offering a $100 reward for his return.
