BAT CAVE, N.C. (AP) — Henderson County sheriff’s deputies think the death of a man and woman found in a home was a murder-suicide.

Deputies were called to a home Monday and found the bodies of 54-year-old David Karl Addison and 55-year-old Paula Molinas.

Capt. Frank Stout says deputies have not determined who the shooter was, but a gun was found at the scene.

Stout says friends had not seen Anderson in a few days and went to check on him at about 10 a.m. Monday morning. Investigators think the couple died about five days ago.

The bodies have been sent for autopsies.
