Winston-Salem man charged with child sex offenses

YADKIN COUNTY, N.C. — A Winston-Salem man is accused of multiple sex offenses involving a child. 

Charles Cecil Lashley, 51, of Peace Haven Road, is charged with first-degree sex offense on a child, rape of a child, crimes against nature, two counts of indecent liberties with a minor and two counts of sexual battery. 

Lashley was arrested Sunday by Yadkin County deputies.  He was jailed in Forsyth County under a $250,000 secured bond. 

Deputies said the alleged offenses occurred in 2009. 

No other details were provided as the investigation is ongoing.
