‘The Jeffersons’ Star Sherman Hemsley Dies

Sherman Hemsley, star of “The Jeffersons” and “Amen” has died, according to TMZ.

The site is reporting Hemsley, 74, died at his home in El Paso, Texas.

Hemsley was also famous for his roles in “All in the Family,” which preceded his “The Jeffersons” debut. The actor and professional singer also released a music single more than two decades ago.

His cause of death is currently unknown.
