BURLINGTON, N.C. — Gov. Perdue has issued a proclamation offering a reward for information relating to the disappearance of a missing Burlington woman.

On Friday, Gov. Perdue issued a proclamation offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the murder of Debra Diane Sellars.

The governor’s office said, “physical evidence and information provided by the Burlington Police Department indicates that Sellars was likely murdered.”

According to police, Sellars was reported missing on April 24. She was last seen by family members on April 20.

Sellars is described as a back female, 5’8”, average build, with brown eyes and brown hair.
