Greensboro employee arrested for drug charges

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A city employee was arrested for drug charges at an area recreation center on Thursday.

Michael Ashley Faison was arrested at Windsor Recreation Center and charged with possession with intent to sell or distribute a controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling to sell and distribute a controlled substance.

Police reported that it is not believed that Faison kept or sold drugs at the recreation facility.

Faison who has worked with the city for 28 yeas was placed on administrative leave without pay. Additional disciplinary action is pending on the outcome of his arrest.
