GREENVILLE, N.C. — Two men have been arrested in the shooting death of a man in downtown Greenville.

Police are searching for a third suspect.

Interim Police Chief Joe Bartlett said Thursday that 23-year-old Broderick Stephan Harris and 27-year-old George Herman Perry Jr., both of Greenville, have been charged with accessory after the fact in the murder.

Police say 21-year-old Dontae Montrel Haddock of Ayden was shot on a city street early last Saturday. He was taken to Vidant Medical Center where he died.

Bartlett said several other people were injured.

Perry was arrested without incident Tuesday, and Harris was arrested Wednesday.

It was not clear if Harris and Perry have lawyers.
