Suspects sought in Winston-Salem apartment robbery

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police are looking for two suspects accused of breaking into and stealing from an apartment at gunpoint early Thursday morning in Winston-Salem.

Police said the men forced their way into an apartment in the 3900 block of Bethania Station Road around 12:30 a.m. from an area shared by another apartment.

Police said three women and a male were home at the time. The suspects were both armed and started beating the 35-year-old male in the head and face, police said.

Police said a gun was shot but did not hit anyone. Police said the suspects fled with stolen items.
