FLAT ROCK, N.C. — Investigators say a Henderson County woman has been charged with murder after she intentionally ran over a man on U.S. Highway 176.

Morgan Bishop, 24, was arrested Friday not long after 45-year-old Roger Moody was struck and killed, deputies said.

Investigators said Bishop and Moody argued before Moody walked away. Deputies said Bishop tried to follow him, then got in her car and ran over Bishop when she saw him walking along the highway.

Bishop is being held in the Henderson County jail on a $500,000 bond. It wasn’t clear if she had an attorney.
