FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Investigators said a man has been charged with first-degree murder in the shootings of his brother and another woman in Fayetteville.

Daniel Jackson, 35, was arrested Friday, not long after the bodies of his brother, 46-year-old Donald Jackson Jr. and his brother’s girlfriend, 42-year old Tammy Jones were found by someone stopping by the couple’s trailer to ask for a construction job, said Cumberland County deputies.

Authorities said Daniel Jackson killed the couple after an argument, but did not give details.

Jackson is awaiting a bond hearing at the Cumberland County jail. It wasn’t clear if he had an attorney.
