GREENSBORO, N.C. — Power is restored after about 1,700 people in Greensboro were without it after some power lines were damaged in a wreck Tuesday morning.

Officials said the traffic wreck occurred in the 3800 block of Yanceyville Street in the early hours. Power was restored around 10 a.m.

Authorities said the area between Asher Downs and Lees Chapel was blocked and several intersections where traffic signals are affected by power outages.
