RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. –  Firefighters from four area fire departments responded to a fire at a factory Tuesday night south of Trinity.

Randolph County officials said the fire was reported just after 6:30 p.m. at the Cast M Reproductions on Hoover Hill Road. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters were able to control the fire, protecting neighboring businesses as of 9:30 p.m. Personnel were still on the scene as of Wednesday morning.

Officials said the fire seemed to start inside the rear portion the building. Authorities said it is not being treated as suspicious. The exact cause remains uncertain.

The company makes molds out of objects, using resins and has around six or seven employees. No one was inside when fire department arrived, officials said.
