Police: Man on scooter robbed in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police said a man on a scooter was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night in Greensboro.

Police said the victim told them it happened around 8:40 p.m. at the stop sign at the intersection of Doak and Ashe streets. Police said the suspect also stole the victim’s scooter.

Police said the scooter was later found unattended. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’4” to 5’6” tall, hair in dreads, 20 to 25 years old, wearing a red T-shirt and jean shorts.
