FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Volunteers are searching again for a missing Fort Bragg soldier.

WRAL-TV reported that teams are looking Saturday in thick brush in Fayetteville for clues on Pfc. Kelli Bordeaux.

The 23-year-old was last seen April 14 at Froggy Bottoms, where she had gone the night before to sing karaoke.

Police believe Bordeaux left the bar with a man identified as a registered sex offender and whom she met there the week before. The man says he dropped her off at the entrance to the apartment complex where she lived with her husband, who was in Florida visiting family that weekend.

The man saidhe had nothing to do with Bordeaux’s disappearance.

Hundreds of volunteers have searched the area around Bordeaux’s home, the bar and a pond in rural Cumberland County.
