Police: Burlington Subway robbed at gunpoint

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police are looking for a suspect after they said a Subway restaurant was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night in Burlington.

Police said a man armed with a small silver handgun entered the location at 3171 Garden Road around 10:30 p.m. with his face covered, demanding money.

Police said the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and may have fled. Officials said he may have left in a silver or light 4-door car similar to a Cadillac or Lincoln, with dark tinted windows.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 5’8” with a large build and wearing a green T-shirt, long jean shorts, tennis shoes and baseball-style cap.
