Surveillance cameras at a zoo in Iowa were installed to capture lion activity. One lion discovered the camera and made it a snack.

The video was captured at Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines and posted on the zoo’s YouTube channel.

It is captioned: “Months after the zoo installed security cameras with the Lions not noticing, one lion discovers the camera and decides to take a closer look. In the last few seconds of the video, you get to see inside the lion’s mouth. Please note that while the camera didn’t survive, the lion wasn’t phased by the incident.”
