Man assualted and robbed in Greensboro parking lot

GREENSBORO, N.C. – A man was assaulted and robbed Thursday night while waiting in apartment complex parking lot.

At approximately 7:30 p.m., police responded to 3866 West Avenue in Greensboro after receiving a report of an armed robbery.

According to police, Justin Davis was standing in the parking, when a man wearing a red baseball cap, red shirt, and black jeans approached him.

According to Davis, the suspect struck him on the head with a hand gun and then demanded money and property.

The suspect fled the scene, possibly getting into a gray passenger vehicle.

Mr. Davis was transported to Moses Cone Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police provided incomplete description of the suspect.
