Greensboro convenience robbed at gunpoint

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are looking for a man accused of firing a gunshot into the ceiling of a convenience store and robbing it Tuesday night in Greensboro.

Police said a suspect entered Sky Mart at 1301 S. Eugene Street around 11:30 p.m.

He allegedly fired the shot and jumped over the counter, took two deposit bags and fled on foot towards Hampton Homes.

The suspect is described as a black-male, 5’8” with a slim-build. Police said he wore a black hooded jacket with white fur lining, a knit cap, a long-sleeve shirt with white pin strips down the sleeves and dark colored pants.

No injuries were reported. Anyone with any information can call Crime Stoppers at (336) 373-1000.
