SENECA, S.C. — Investigators said a mother has been charged with helping her daughters beat up another teen at Seneca High School.

Authorities said Lottie Young is facing charges including assault by mob and delinquency of a minor.

Video of the incident shows a man trying to help the 16-year-old girl being beaten when he is grabbed by Young and pushed against a car. Witnesses say they saw Young kicking the victim on the ground.

Young said the fight was already going on when she got out of her car and she helped break things up. The mother says the beating victim has been bullying her 15-year-old daughter for the past month.

Young’s daughters have also been charged. It wasn’t known if they or their mother had attorneys.
