FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police said a man is dead and his girlfriend missing after a shooting in the victim’s Fayetteville home.

Authorities said the body of 35-year-old Tommy Webb was found around 2 p.m. Tuesday. He appeared to have been shot at least once.

Investigators said Webb’s girlfriend, 26-year-old Denika Jones, has not been seen since her boyfriend’s body was found.

The Fayetteville Observer reported that Webb shot and killed a 24-year-old man and wounded another person last June, but authorities ruled he acted in self-defense. Webb was wounded in the hand and the groin in the shootout.
