Convenience store clerk robbed with steak knife

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police are investigating an armed robbery of a convenient store in Winston-Salem, Monday night.

According to police, at 10:47 p.m., a suspect armed with a steak knife entered the Circle K located at 2121 West Clemmonsville Road.

The suspect confronted the store clerk, removed cash from the register and then fled on foot.

No injuries were reported.

Police describe the suspect as wearing a dark colored mask, dark zip-up hoodie, dark pants, gloves and armed with a steak knife.
