Summer Music Series in Winston-Salem starts June 8

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Musicians will soon start filling downtown Winston-Salem with the sounds of jazz, funk, folk and more on weekend nights.

The Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership announced Friday that this year’s Summer Music Series will begin June 8 and run through Sept. 1.

The number of concerts and the locations will remain the same as last year, with Downtown Jazz shows taking place from 6 to 9 p.m. Fridays at Corpening Plaza and Summer on Trade shows running from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturdays in the Downtown Arts District at Sixth and Trade streets.
