GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man selling fruit in a business parking lot was robbed at gunpoint on Monday evening.

The victim told police he was selling fruit in the parking lot of 2308 East Bessemer Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Monday when he was approached by a man.

The suspect made a purchase and then pulled up his shirt to display a handgun in his waistband.

The suspect demanded money and received an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing in a black, Kia sedan.

The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 40-years-old, 6’4″, 280 pounds and was wearing a burgundy shirt, black jogging pants and white shoes.
