Thomasville man charged with statutory rape

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — A Thomasville man was arrested this week under accusations that he had a sexual relationship with a teenager.

Bruce Lincoln Williams, 33, of 125 City Line Drive, was charged with two counts of statutory rape on Tuesday.

According to a news release from the Thomasville Police Department, Williams is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old.

The victim told investigators that the two were involved in a sexual relationship from December 25, 2011 to March.  The victim said the two would meet at Williams’ home, police said.

Williams was jailed in Davidson County under a $200,000 secured bond.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and no further details have been provided.
