Nearly 6,000 registered for ‘Race for the Cure’ in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Thousands of people will take part in Susan G. Komen’s Race for the Cure Saturday morning in Winston-Salem.

Nearly 6,000 have registered for the race, which is slated to begin at 8:30 a.m. at Salem Academy and College.

Saturday will mark the 13th year for the event taking place in the Piedmont Triad.

Those who are still interested in registering for the race can do so at komennctriad.org.  If you miss the deadline, you will still be able to register Saturday morning before the race begins.
