GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Hopefuls looking to compete for a $5 million recording contract on season two of THE X FACTOR gathered to obtain wristbands for their auditions Monday morning; and many weren't afraid to show off what they'll be bringing to the competition.

Open-call auditions for the second season of THE X FACTOR will be held at the Greensboro Coliseum starting at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1.

Free wristbands will be distributed to those who are auditioning until 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Camping will not be allowed outside the Coliseum during auditions, officials said.

Those who receive a wristband will be asked to return to the Coliseum by 8 a.m. Tuesday for their audition.
