DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — Two people face charges in connection with the thefts of air conditioners at two Davidson County churches.

Daniel Ray Lynch, 24, and Billy Cathan Hailey, 33, were arrested Saturday.

Deputies said several air conditioners were stolen from the Canaan United Methodist Church around 5:30 a.m. Saturday.

Lynch was held under a $3,000 secured bond, and Hailey was held under a $5,000 secured bond.

Both are scheduled to appear in court May 21.
