Car hits exterior of Burlington Target

BURLINGTON, N.C. — No one was hurt when two cars collided in the Target parking lot Monday, causing one to hit the building.

The wreck happened around 3:50 p.m. at the store on University Drive.

Burlington Police said a 2007 Mazda and a 2009 Honda collided in a corner of the parking lot, and the Honda then continued into a corner of the building.

Damage to a steel door of the store was estimated at $1,200.

Police said the driver of the Mazda didn’t yield the right-of-way, but no criminal charges were filed.
