The TV show "Storage Wars" has introduced millions to the search for hidden treasures at abandoned storage unit auctions. But such auctions in the Piedmont aren't really like what you see on the show.

Jay Fendley, who owns the Wallburg Bargain Center, said that if he thinks he can get about 3/4 of his money back from the things he can see, he can make money with whatever's hidden.

Other storage warriors said the key is going as a pair so that one person can keep the other person's bidding in check.
