Barbecue Capital Cookoff

Dozens of teams and judges from around the United States will converge on Lexington this weekend for the Barbecue Capital Cookoff.

It starts Friday night at 6 p.m. in downtown Lexington, and it runs all Saturday. The teams will compete for more than $15,000 in prize money.

But there's much more to do at the second annual cookoff than eat good barbecue. This morning, Shannon Smith previewed the other things you can do at the family-friendly event.
