WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Scenes for a movie featuring Owen Wilson, Amy Pohler and Wilkes County native Zach Galifianakis will be filmed in the Winston-Salem area in early May, and casting directors are looking for paid extras.

"You Are Here" is a comedy centering around childhood best friends (Wilson and Galifanakis) who take a road trip home. Pohler will play the sister of Galifianakis' character.

Matt Weiner, who has directed several episodes of AMC's "Mad Men," will direct the film.

Patrick Ingram, extras casting director, said he is looking for all types of men and women 18 and older. Ingram made a specific request for people who could pass as being Amish. Ingram said he is looking for a specific facial hair look in casting male Amish extras.

Experience isn't required, but Ingram said he will be looking for featured extras and some experienced stand-ins for the cast.

Extras must be available for filming days that could last longer than 12 hours.

Anyone who wants to try out needs to send two clear recent photos--a face shot and a full-length shot--plus their ages, clothing sizes and contact information, Ingram said.

Ingram requests all information to be emailed to youarehereextras@gmail.com.
