RALEIGH, N.C. — A former youth director at a Raleigh area church has pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a minor.

Jerrod Don McCabe, 35, was sentenced to between six and 17 months of probation after the plea in Raleigh on Monday.

McCabe had worked as youth director at the Raleigh Chinese Christian Church in Cary.

He must enter the state’s sexual offender control program or a similar one in Alabama. McCabe also has been ordered not to have any contact with a child under the age of 16.

He was arrested in March and charged with 20 counts of child pornography. Arrest warrants say investigators found images that featured girls between 4 and 7 years old.
