Raymond Miller and Julie McGee Williams (Davidson Co. Sheriff's Office)

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — Two people were arrested after deputies said a registered sex offender used a fake Thomasville address to register but was living in Archdale.

Raymond Miller, 51, allegedly registered to Davidson County authorities using an address of 101 5th Ave. but was actually living off Old Thomasville Road.

Deputies said Miller was accompanied by Julie McGee Williams, 58, of Thomasville, who told them Miller was going to be living with her at that address.

Miller and Williams were charged with duty to report noncompliance of a sex offender.

Both were placed in the Davidson County Jail. Miller received a $1,000 secured bond and Williams a $10,000 secured bond.

Deputies did not release further information.
