Job fair hosted at Rockingham Community College

WENTWORTH, N.C. — An estimated 28 companies looking for workers are represented at a job fair at Rockingham Community College on Thursday.

The fair, which is being held from 9 a.m. to noon in the college’s Robert C. Key Gymnasium on County Home Road, was organized by Goodwill Industries of Central North Carolina.

A list of the companies in attendance included: Adecco Staffing; Bayada Nurses; Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation; Jacob’s Creek; Debbie Staffing; Gildan Activewear Distribution, Inc.; Fleet Master; Morehead Hospital, NC Army National Guard; Primerica; Rockingham County Schools; Pioneer Community Hospital; TE Connectivity; U.S. Army Recruiting Agency; Eden YMCA; Lowes Home Improvement; ADTS (formerly Council on Aging); Western Southern Life Insurance; Sagebrush Restaurant; Gerbin’s Heated Clothing; Luihn Foods, Subway; Christian Home Health Care; Woodsmen of America; Staff Masters; Rockingham County Head Start; and the N.C. Highway Patrol.

Another job fair is slated for next Thursday, April 26, in Asheboro.
