Silver Alert for missing Randolph Co. man canceled

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — A Silver Alert issued for a missing Randolph County man has been canceled.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued the alert for Reason Rowell. He is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Rowell, 81, is a white male, 5’8″, 22 pounds, grey hair, blue eyes and was last seen at 4334 Third B St. in Julian wearing blue pajamas, grey slippers and white socks.

Around two hours after the alert was issued, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office requested the alert be canceled.
