WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Winston-Salem man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of his roommate.

Landon Marchell Rader Jr., 51, is charged in the death of Jackie Edward Cates, 52, who was found unresponsive with gunshot wounds to his body in their home at 1107 Ziglar Road on April 3.
