GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Dozens of Greensboro Police officers walked through two neighborhoods Thursday where there have been several break-ins this year.

The walk-throughs took place at the River Birch and Hidden Lakes apartment complexes.

Besides reminding residents to keep their apartments and cars locked, police were also looking for information on other reported incidents.

"The community knows that we do care about what's going on in the community. However, we need their help in solving some of these crimes that have taken place," one officer said. "Most recently, an attempted sexual assault has taken place in the area, so we need information on a possible suspect in that case."

There have been five burglaries and five car break-ins between the apartment complexes so far this year.
