ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Two suspects have been arrested and two more are sought in connection with a series of home break-ins in Rowan County.

In a news release, deputies said Danny Roland Green and Jamie Elizabeth Overcash have been linked to 18 separate home break-ins across the southeast and eastern regions of Rowan County. The break-ins all happened in March.

The two suspects were arrested after a neighbor interrupted a burglary on Old Beatty Ford Road near Rockwell. Deputies said one of the suspects attacked the witness and fled the scene in a burgundy Dodge Dakota.  The vehicle was later stopped by Kannapolis police and Green and Overcash were found inside. They’re now being held in the Cabarrus County Jail.

Some property stolen during the break-ins has been recovered and returned to the owners, deputies said.

Additionally, authorities are seeking two other suspects  — identified as Donterio Glapsy and Desmond Cruse — who are wanted in connection with other burglaries in the same regions.
