Silver Alert still in effect for missing Greensboro man

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police on Friday said they’re still searching for a Greensboro man who was reported missing Monday.

A Silver Alert was issued early this week for 64-year-old Roger Blair Hartsell.  He was last seen around 10:30 a.m. Monday at his home on East Fisher Avenue.

Police said he is believed to be suffering from dementia or other cognitive impairments.

Hartsell is believed to be driving a gold 2005 Toyota Corolla with N.C. registration ZYL5753.  It is not known what direction he may be driving.

He is described as standing 5’11” tall and weighing 185 lbs.

Anyone with information about Hartsell’s whereabouts is asked to call police at (336) 373-2287.
