Gov. Perdue to speak in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Governor Perdue will be at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem at 10:30 a.m. Friday to speak about the importance of education in North Carolina.

Purdue said she will push three fourths of a cent sales tax hike to fund education in the future.
