Two displaced after Winston-Salem house fire

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Officials said two people were displaced after their home caught fire Wednesday night in Winston-Salem.

The blaze was reported around 6:07 p.m. at 4125 High Point Road. Authorities said 20 firefighters from six units had the situation under control in about 11 minutes.

No injuries were reported. Officials estimated about $25,000 in property damage and $3,000 in content damage.

Authorities said the cause of the fire is under investigation. The blaze was contained to a bedroom after being found, officials said.
