GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Some UNC-Greensboro representatives and volunteers at large will help bring some life to a nearby neighborhood on Saturday.

The group of volunteers will be doing some landscaping on the 800 block of Haywood Street. That's where some houses in the way of the Spartan Village project were moved.

In the video above, see some of the plans for the landscaping. Some volunteers will bring plants from their own yards to plant in the neighborhood.

Preservation Greensboro moved the houses in hopes of preserving examples of the area's architecture and landscape. The group hopes to have the homes ready to sell later in the spring.
