Police: Winston-Salem man molested 14-year-old

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Winston-Salem man was arrested Friday after police said he molested a young teenager.

Police said Juan Lopez-Gomez, 30, was arrested Friday after a four-month long investigation into allegations that he had an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old.  The suspect had molested the victim on numerous occasions, police said.

Lopez was charged with one count of statutory rape, indecent liberties with a child, and first-degree sexual offense.

He was jailed in Forsyth County under a $1 million bond.
