Gibsonville man faces cocaine charges

GIBSONVILLE, N.C. — A man wanted on drug charges turned himself into authorities Thursday in Gibsonville.

The Burlington Times-News reported that Odell Napolean Whitsett, 41, of Gibsonville, was charged with one count of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, two counts of felony possession of cocaine and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was placed in Guilford County jail under $1,500 bond and has court April 18.

Whitsett is one of eight people that were part of an ongoing police investigation on drugs.
