DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A Thomasville man has been arrested after deputies said he used a gun to threaten a witness who was set to testify against him in court.

According to a news release, deputies found 11 guns inside the home of 50-year-old Tony Darrell Clark while investigating the incident.  Deputies said Clark is a convicted felon.

Clark, who was already facing upcoming charges in court, held the victim at gunpoint and threatened them so they wouldn’t testify against him, deputies said.

The suspect was additionally charged with intimidating a witness, obstruction of justice, and 11 counts of possession of a firearm by a felon.  He was jailed under a $600,000 secured bond.
