ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Authorities say they arrested four people in the killing of an Asheville teen, including one man who said he wanted to kill the victim because “he shot me.”

Police said 21-year-old Anthony Wilson, 22-year-old James Wilson and 20-year-old Bresean Fate were charged Saturday with murder, and 23-year-old Ericka Smith was charged as an accessory after the fact.

Investigators say 19-year-old Tommy Harrison Jr. was shot six times in the chest outside an apartment complex Feb. 27.

An arrest warrant says Anthony Wilson told someone as he loaded a gun shortly before the shooting that he was going to kill Harrison because “he shot me.”

Wilson was shot in the chest in August 2010. The description of the shooter matched Harrison.

It wasn’t clear if any of the suspects had attorneys.
