Police: Burlington resident arrested after stabbing man

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A man was arrested after police said he stabbed a man in the back during an argument Friday night in Burlington.

Willie Frank Odums, 55, of Burlington, allegedly injured the victim around 11 p.m. at a home in the 300 block of Quintas Ave.

Officers said they found the victim in front of the house with an apparent stab wound. He was taken to Alamance Regional Medical Center for non- life threatening injuries.

Odums was arrested at the scene and charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. He was placed in the Alamance County Jail under a $30,000 secured bond.

The weapon used remains uncertain. Odums was not injured. No other details were released.
